Kids & Youth
We want our kids to enjoy being part of the church! We hope that our Sunday afternoon groups provide a fantastic, safe context for children and young people to have a great time together and release parents to access and be part of the Sunday meeting. We're grateful for the many young families that are part of the church and will do everything that we can to help families who are visiting us.
During our Sunday afternoon service children stay with their families for the first 30 minutes of the meeting, they then join the age-specific activities in separate rooms. All of our group leaders are CRB checked, and we review our safeguarding policy annually.
Twinklers (0-2 year olds)
Twinklers is our excellent crèche facility. We aim to provide a safe, caring and fun environment. Due to the young age of some children, parents are welcome to stay or pop in and out as they wish for nursing, feeding or changing of their children. Each week we provide a wide selection of toys, books and songs for our little ones to enjoy.
Sparklers (2-6 year olds)
In Sparklers the children spend time learning about Jesus in many fun and imaginative ways, including help from puppets, crafts and lots of games.
Re-Fuel (6-11 year olds)
In Re-Fuel we value the part children play in church life and enjoy the contribution they make. Re-Fuel is designed to combine various activities with learning and fun. During these sessions the children have opportunity to learn more about Jesus, develop their own gifts, and have the chance to pray and be prayed for.
Fusion (11-16 year olds)
Fusion meets most Sundays; we tackle what God wants for our lives and how we live it out day to day. It is also a time to build friendships and support each other away from busy school life.
Students
We have a fantastic group of students who are a key part of the Frontiers Church family. If you're moving down to Exeter to start a university course in September then we look forward to welcoming you!
We have students who join us at our afternoon meeting and others who enjoy gathering at Frontiers Church Central in the evening. Whether you are a Christian or just exploring you are very welcome to join us at either site. We spend time hearing teaching about Jesus, we sing about and to Him, and we'll usually head off to get some food and drink together afterwards...
Students are invited to participate in our 'I.D. Course' to get a flavour of our vision and values, and then to join a homegroup. You might be here for 3 months, 3 years or 30 years (!) but we think that it's a wonderful thing to play a part in the life of the church, whether it's serving coffee, joining a Sunday team, leading worship or teaching our kids and youth.
We really want to see our students grow in their relationship with God and enjoy walking with Him. We encourage this by arranging '1-2-1s' with older students and discipleship 'bootcamps'. Some of our young men seem to particularly enjoy our intensive discipleship courses while others prefer meeting up for coffee, sharing life and reading one of our recommended books.
Our Student Team provides an opportunity to develop leadership gifts in the church context. These are exciting and formative years and we want to support you in every way that we can. We're excited about this academic year!
If you're heading to Exeter and want to let us know that you're coming, you can email Dan in the office, who will put you in touch with Matt and the student team.
We look forward to meeting you.

20s/30s
We have a large group of 20s/30s that meet for monthly socials and other more informal events. Most recently these have included a river crossing and wide games, pudding/games night and October's upcoming pizza night.
We are committed to building strong friendships, having a lot of fun and providing an inclusive context in which all are welcome and feel that they belong. You might be a teacher, doctor, postgraduate student or looking for work - we'd love to connect with you.
To find out more please email office@frontiers-exeter.org.uk or speak to Dan Partridge or Cat Lambert at a Sunday meeting.

Homegroups
We meet weekly as small groups in homes across the city. Our goal is to share life together, develop friendships and encourage one another. This often involves enjoying food together, praying for one another and looking in more depth at the sermon from the previous Sunday.
Usually we find you a home group once you have completed the I.D. Course, but in the meantime you are very welcome to join a group and plug into the church family. It's always worth asking a friend or somebody you have met on a Sunday - they will be more than happy to invite you along to their group. If you would like to visit a group near you please contact the office.
Volunteer
We believe that good leadership in every area of church life is essential! We're committed to the ongoing process of identifying and training new leaders. Leadership, creativity and commitment are vital ingredients of everything that we are seeking to do as a church, loving and serving Exeter in as many ways as we can. Each of the following teams play a vital role in the life of the church:
Kids and Youth, Set-up Team, Projection Team, Student Team, Welcome Team, Rainbow Toddler Group, Worship Team, Exeter Foodbank, Homegroup Leadership, Sunday Refreshments, 20s/30s Events...
If you're interested in serving in one of these areas, please contact the office for more details.
Rainbow
Rainbow is a friendly group for babies, toddlers and their carers who meet fortnightly on Wednesday mornings during term time to play, chat and have fun together. The spacious environment at the Palace Gate Centre, 3 Palace Gate, Exeter, provides ample opportunity for toddlers to expend their energy and to get creative with craft as well as providing a safe baby area. Children are offered a healthy snack, whilst grown-ups enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and homemade cake!
We hold special termly events which have included a professional photographer session, a pottery session and parachute games. For more information contact the office or speak to Jo Todd. Check out the calendar on the website for when we are next meeting, and find us on Facebook for more information and details.
Marriage
Marriage is a wonderful gift from God. We are very thankful that we have many young married couples, and many more who are currently engaged. We want to encourage every married couple to build their lives on solid biblical foundations as they learn to walk with God together.
If you are engaged or considering marriage, we would encourage you to go through marriage preparation with us. This involves meeting with an older couple in the church over several weeks to work through material produced by Andy and Jane Arscott.
We also want to support married couples! A recent midweek 'training track' proved very popular, and we're now exploring the possibility of planning a marriage enrichment weekend in 2012. We'll communicate this in more detail as we know more...
If you would like more information please speak to an Elder or Homegroup Leader, or get in touch with Dan in the church office.
Together at Westpoint
We are part of a wider family of churches known as Newfrontiers. We value these relationships very highly - it's great to be together on a mission, hearing stories of God's goodness across the country and indeed across the world. We'll be gathering with 30+ churches from all across the South-West for Together at Westpoint 2012.
PJ Smyth (Johannesbury, South Africa) and Vinu Paul (Mumbai, India) will be the guest speakers, as well as leaders from across the region. It will be great to worship with 2000+ other believers, and there will be fantastic sessions for the kids and youth, who will have their own log cabin where they can hang out and make new friends.
Many of us will be camping together at Westpoint. The site will be very much geared for families camping together, with sports competitions, churches camping together, hot food, ample shower/toilet facilities, and a fantastic cafe/bookshop/chillout zone.
For more information or to book in, please visit the Together at Westpoint website.
