Giving

At Frontiers Church Exeter we are seeking to make a big, lasting difference to the city of Exeter and beyond. Each one of us has a key part to play in this vision! As members of the church we invite you to join us in giving cheerfully and generously. We explain more of how and why we do this on our I. D. Course.

As well as resourcing the Church we enjoy giving to good causes in our city and beyond.  We give regularly for Church Planting, care for the poor and apostolic ministry. We have also enjoyed giving to Exeter Foodbank which does a great job of feeding those who are in crisis.

You will find information below about two charities that we give to monthly. Additionally, in 2010/2011 we also gave to Exeter YMCA, Exeter ICE (Initiative in Christian Education), the Lord Mayor’s Charity and ECU (the University of Exeter Evangelical Christian Union). As part of our year-end process we will be evaluating how much we can give to these groups in the form of an annual gift. 

The finances at FCE are overseen by The Eldership Team, The Stewardship Team, External accountants and by The Charity Commission.

Exeter Foodbank

We give monthly to Exeter Foodbank, a charity that provides emergency food parcels to people in crisis situations. Joy Dunne is a member of Frontiers Church Exeter and is the co-ordinator of Exeter Foodbank. Additionally, a number of our members are involved in Exeter Foodbank, both as Trustees and by helping during the weekly distribution sessions.
