Help! Shortage at Foodbank...
4th May 2011
As a church we support a number of local initiatives. This involves both a financial commitment and a 'personnel' commitment. Exeter Foodbank is a fantastic scheme which provides emergency food parcels and care for people who find themselves in unexpected financial difficulty.
Our very own Joy Dunne, who is the Foodbank Co-Ordinator, has asked for help! Foodbank relies upon donations of food from local churches and supermarkets, and there is a current shortage. If you could provide any of the following, please bring the items to a Sunday meeting or Church Together tonight:
Noodle/Pasta Snacks, Biscuits, Tins of Rice Pudding, Long-Life Fruit Juice, Tinned Tomatoes, Tinned Potatoes.
