Joy's Foodbank Update

"Thanks, everyone, for praying for the Foodbank, and especially for the new distribution premises that were urgently needed! We moved into the 'answer to those prayers' on January 11th 2011 at The Mint on Fore St. We are so thankful for the two years that the YMCA allowed us to use their premises.
As well as providing food we also pray for opportunities to sow 'gospel seeds' into the lives of people that come to us and on a number of occasions we have been able to pray with clients about their circumstances.
We are always in need of more food, but it needs to be donated from our prescribed list. This month it's tinned sponge puddings and tins/packets of custard, and tin openers – many of our clients don't have one! If you want to help with this then please bring your donations along on a Sunday and leave them under the table at the front of the hall."
